Exam schedule

Hi folks,

Our classes will be interrupted by the exam schedule.

Here are some important dates for you to know.

Our last day for adult classes is Wednesday January 21st.

All classes resume for second semester on Monday February 2nd.

Also, there will be no adult classes on Tuesday January 20th since I am at York University guest lecturing in a Sociology class.

Thanks for a great semester!

Chris

Hi folks,

Adult string classes for today are cancelled due to weather. Please inform those who may not have access to this email.

The concert for tonight at 5pm is still a ‘go’.

Ian is coming down from Ottawa later today so I will let you know via the blog if we have to cancel the concert.

Dinner at Darbar

Hi folks,

Ian Fitze, Katie and I plan on going to Darbar after the concert.

If you want to join us, you can call the restaurant and reserve your own seating.

We found that smaller tables seem to get served quicker than a large one.

See you tomorrow at 5pm.

Road ice

Hi Folks,

Be careful of the ice on the driveway of the school next to sidewalks.

It is very slippery and may be covered with snow.

Rob Stevenson suggests that you walk in the middle of the driveway and to not walk over the median between the parking lot and driveway.

Thanks

Chris

Hi folks,

Just a heads up that I may be sending an email out early tomorrow morning stating that classes are cancelled because of the heavy ice at the school.

Mr. Robert Stevenson, the Head Caretaker called me today and advised me that he was called into work to deal with the heavy ice buildup on sidewalks and parking lot at the school. He said the ice is very thick and with the continuing rain and dropping temperature, he hasn’t been able to completely remove all of the ice and snow.

He said that if there is a flash freeze tonight it could be very slippery and he will be unable to clear it to what he considers a safe standard for us.

He said he would call me tomorrow at 6am to advise me of the conditions. If he deems it unsafe, I will send out an email on the blog by 630am.

Please check your email and notify those who may not have access to this information.

If you do not get an email, then there will be classes as usual.

And thanks to Rob for his concern and effort.

Thanks

Happy New Year

Chris
