Hi folks,

Nancy Mabee has sent me an email about Jeanne Brown and her husband Bud.

I know many of you would want to know about this and support Jeanne at this difficult time.

Thanks

Chris

Here it is.

Jeanne Brown is going through a rough time and could use some support. Her husband Bud has had multiple strokes and is in KGH stroke unit, the prognosis is not promising. I asked her if she wanted me to share the news with the band, she said yes. I think that she could use some company from those who remember her. She talks about the band with fond memories and smiles.

She is spending all her time with Bud but I know short visits would help her morale.

It would mean the world to her if anyone could find the time for her.

Wednesday news media coming

Hi Folks,

Tomorrow, both CKWS and The Whig will be coming to LaSalle to take photos and speak with me and you about our program in light of the recent announcement of my being awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.

I would like as many at this event as possible so that you can all participate in this important milestone of recognition of our wonderful program.

Hope you can all make it. They will be arriving at around 10am and we’ll be having our classes as normal.

Beginners, Intermediates and Strings are encouraged to also be present at this momentous occasion.

Thanks to all

Chris
