Jennifer’s bass for sale.

Hi folks,

Apparently, Jennifer’s info on her bass was not included in the forwarded email.

Here it is cut and pasted into this one.

Hope it works.

Thanks

Chris

I’m selling my 3/4 acoustic bass — $1000 OBO

It includes a padded case from Upton bass, quiver and stand. It’s Chinese — laminate — but has a nice tone.

It has been maintained by Jimmy Smith, luthier in Picton.

I’m selling "Basie" because there’s no easy/practical/inexpensive way for me to transport it to BC.

Thanks,

Jennifer=

Schedule for the Fall

Hi Folks,

Here’s a schedule that I’ve set up.

I’ve tried to create a balanced timetable and allow for growth of players to roll over into advanced classes at their discretion in the proceeding time periods.

I also have to keep in mind that we will have high school students enrolled in the instrumental classes again this year so, I’ve tried to keep band classes running in periods two and three for most of the week so they can get their required course hours plus an independent history/theory study component.

As you can see, Beginner classes are only one hour. In my experience I have found that a double class is too taxing for these groups. But I’ve also tried to double up the intermediate and advanced classes with a coffee break in between. This seems to work the best for optimum learning and enjoyment.

All classes will be in the music room so this should make transitions smoother without the need to move stands etc.

I hope that this suits all or most of you and that this early notification will help you in your Fall planning.

Of course you are all welcome to attend any of the classes as you see fit. Whatever gives you the most enjoyment and learning is the goal.

Thanks

Chris
