There is the possibility of an adult string program running at LaSalle in the Fall separate from the band classes but also in the mornings.

I know that we have been approached many times by people asking about strings.

If any of you know of people would be interested, I’d like to have some approximate numbers to support it’s development. If you could share this with the Community Strings that would be good too.

Would you email me and let me know of people so I can take a number to Erin?

Music to be handed in

A message from Karen.

Also, for the intermediates and beginners, please ensure that all of your method books and pieces are returned if you are not planning on returning in September or if you feel that you won’t be using them over the summer months.

Chris has decided that the following pieces are to be handed in next week. Please do so asap so I can file them.

To make it easier for you, the procedure will be the same as other years:

I will place the folders on the back file cabinets and table with a sign.

You just have to place your copy as neatly as possible on TOP of the folder. The folders will be there until next Friday, June 17.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

No concert today

Please read the following message from Barb Cass and the committee’s decision.

Hi Chris – Considering the weather forecast for later this afternoon, it has been decided to bring the wine & cheese party inside. The speed and the force of the storm here yesterday has left us all a little unnerved. It’s very disappointing for everyone, but thank you and the band for standing by. Barb.
