Hi folks,

We’d like to host a holiday get together at our home on Saturday Dec 14th from 2 to 5pm.

We found that having it in the afternoon lessons the conflicts of other events and keeps it during daylight hours, especially if the weather is not great.

We are at 476 Victoria St. between Princess and Mack St. Look for the yellow fire hydrant out front.

No need to bring anything.

Hope can make it, even just to drop in, say hello and have a cup of cheer.

PS. No need to RSVP!

Chris and Katie.

Unfortunately, I will miss the next Soundbytes concert on Tuesday December 3. I will bring my button to class on Monday and anyone who wants to go to that concert is welcome to use it.

Good morning folks,

Well, it’s the first of the season and early I think.

Due to the weather conditions, all adult classes are cancelled for today.

Again, please inform those who may not have access to this email.

Have a good day.

Don’t shovel! It’s really heavy!

Hi folks,

I just thought you’d like to know that David Morris, who if you are not familiar with him, is a fine trumpet player and has sat in with our band on many occasions (when he’s had time) and on crucial gigs where more trumpets were needed, such as Guys and Dolls,

Is throwing his hat into the ring to be the replacement for the retiring John Gerresten.

If you’d like to know more about his efforts or just to wish him well, contact him at

or by phone at 613-531-4429

From Bob Silverman

Hi Folks,

As you know by now, there will be no band class on Wed.

I started a group lottery today (Monday). If you really want to play and were not able to sign up, feel free to drop off $5 at my place (34 Traymoor – about 2 blocks east of Sir John A. running north off of Union). Knock on the door but if there is no answer, leave your money in an envelope with your name printed on it in the mail box (beside the side door).

Cut off will be 1 PM on Thursday Nov. 21.

Good luck to all players.
