Kiwanis Festival soloists on Tuesday

Hi folks,

If you have the time tomorrow from 11am to noon please attend the solo performance series of the Kiwanis festival at St. Andrew’s church on Clergy St.

Katie’s bassoon student Aviner Hartwick is performing twice and my student Clara Troje is performing Weber’s Concertino for Clarinet and Piano.

Both students are excellent players and have worked really hard on their repertoire. It would be great for them to perform to an appreciative and attentive audience.

From Joy

Begin forwarded message.

I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND THE CONCERT OF THE KINGSTON SYMPHONY WHICH TAKES PLACE ON SUNDAY MARCH 24, AT 2:30, AT THE GRAND THEATRE.

WITH THE KINGSTON SYMPHONY, THE CHORAL SOCIETY AND THE CANTABILE WOMENS’ CHOIR, THE CONCERT WILL PRESENT SCHUBERT’S SPRING SYMPHONY (NUMBER 5 OR 6, I,M NOT SURE) PLUS «BELTANE», BY MARK SIRETT, AND «LUX AETERNA» BY MORTEN LAURIDSEN. I MENTION IT BECAUSE FOR ME, THE LAST PIECE IS AMONG SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PIECES I’VE EVER HEARD.

IF YOU BUY TICKETS FROM ME, YOU SAVE THE GRAND THEATRE’S CHARGES. THE TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE.

HOPING TO HEAR FROM YOU,

JOY OBADIA.
