Doug Brookes memorial

Hi folks,

Just in case you did not read this post from Doug’s son Adrian, I am including it as an email.

Thanks

Chris

This is Adrian Brookes writing on Doug’s computer.

I’m sorry to bring this news if you haven’t already heard; my Dad, Doug Brookes passed away peacefully on Sunday Dec 1 at KGH in Kingston.

I would like to invite anyone wanting to join us this coming friday Dec 6 from 2 PM onwards at the RCHA at 193 Ontario Street for a celebration of life gathering. Dad wanted everyone to have a good time and enjoy some fine brew.

Dad’s brother John and his wife Dawn are here from the UK, as well as Dad’s niece Theresa.

Thank you and look forward to seeing anyone who can make it.

Sad news

Hello Folks,

I heard a few moments ago that Doug Brookes died last night at 1130pm in hospital.

If I hear of any service planned, I’ll pass it along.

Doug Brookes

Hi folks,

I had a call from an old friend of Doug in Connecticut, named John Nunney. He had a call from a caregiver who looks after Doug.

Doug is in hospital and not well. From what John was told, Doug may not live longer than a week.

That’s all I know. If I hear from Doug’s son or get any new information, I’ll pass it along.

Thanks

Chris
